Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

How do I Join?

It's really simple to join us here at I-Motion, simply click on the join link and select the membership you are wanting. You can also pop down to the gym and we can do all of this for you.

Can I come for a look around before joining?

Of course! Just pop down during staffed hours and one of our amazing team will be more than happy to show you around and answer any questions you may have.

What offers do you have on at the minute?

All of our offers will be on our join page at the top of our website, click on this and you will see all offers we currently have running and what they include.

I have recently joined, what do I do now?

All the information you would need to know will have been emailed out to you, keep an eye on your emails and check your junk folder. First things first though, download the I-Motion app from your devices app store.

What type of classes do you do?

We have a variety of classes on here at I-Motion, which we pride ourselves on. Everything from spin to Pilates and BodyPump to Zumba. We have also created our own class called 'SHRED' a high intensity 30 minute class that is sure to get your heart rate up. To view our full timetable CLICK HERE

What is Smart Start?

Smart Start is your chance to earn your third month free (an extra month if you have paid annually) it is only available to MAX members and gives you 30 days to complete 16 gym sessions (8 sessions in the gym and 8 classes) this also gives you 2 x 30 minute PT sessions that will help introduce you to gym equipment and is your opportunity to ask any questions to a PT.

How old do you have to be to join?

Minimum age for a membership here is 16, please note that ID may be asked for so bring this with you on your first visit.

How do I cancel?

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your membership, please email rotherhamadmin@i-motiongym.com to do this. please DO NOT cancel your Direct Debit as our payment company may add charges onto your account that can not be removed by I-Motion.

Do you offer day passes?

We do, day prices are priced at £10.00
We also do week passes, these are priced at £15 and allow you to try more of the facility for longer.

How do I activate my 24 hours?

An email should have been sent to you within an hour of signing up, if this has not been sent, please let us know via email, phone call or at reception.
Once this email has been received, please fill out the details on the waiver and submit the form. Please note that this can sometimes take up to 48 hours from completing to activate and you will receive a 'granted' email once it is all up and running.

Youth Membership Your Agreement Overview

  • You must signup at Reception with a member of staff.

  • Youth ID is required for proof of age.

  • Youth's must be accompanied by a Parent/Guardian over the age of 18 at all times who is a member.

  • You the Parent/Guardian take full responsibility for the health and safety and usage of the facilities by the Youth.  Please stick to exercises, routines and weights you are comfortable instructing the youth on to ensure the safety and correct use of equipment.

  • Youth access times are between 6am and 6pm weekdays and 8am to 4pm weekends.  These may vary on bank holidays and other occasions as staff must be in the building at the time.

  • No access to the Saunas.

  • Youths can only access classes that are specific to the Youth these will be coming soon.

  • Upon their 16th birthday the Youth will automatically be moved to a standard membership package.
