Class Instructor / Personal Trainer


Hi, I’m Fiona. I work as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer here at i-motion. I’ve always had a keen interest in fitness and knew what I wanted to do from leaving school. Working in the fitness industry can be very challenging but also extremely rewarding. After 30 years I can honestly say I enjoy it more than ever.

My passion is helping people achieve their goals. Be it in a class or one to one basis. I teach several classes including Pilates, Step, Leg Bum's & Tum's and Spin. 

My hobbies are playing hockey, fell walking, mountain biking and spending time with the family. Hope to see you in a class soon.

I've been teaching group fitness classes since 1999 starting with Step, Aerobics, Circuit Training, Aqua Aerobics and LBT.  I currently teach a variety of classes from Les Mills Bodypump, Bodycombat, Spin, Pilates and most recently yoga both within and outside of I-Motion Gym.

I love teaching group fitness, not only because it helps people reach their fitness goals in a group setting, but also because it gives me the opportunity to create a fun, lively and motivating environment for my participants to enjoy.

Hi my name is Kelly and I am a Fitness Instructor at Imotion gym.

My love of exercise began relatively late in life- after having 2 children 10 years ago, I was looking to shift the extra baby weight- I joined this very gym and a new chapter of my life began. I fell in love with group exercise- not just because it helped me lose weight and tone up, but because of the social aspect and the amazing friends I made. I am a perfect example of ‘it’s never too late to change and develop healthy habits’, 10 years later and I couldn’t be without my exercise- I make going to the gym my ‘me’ time. I’m an extremely busy mum of 3 boys and finding time to train can be challenging so i made it a part of my working life.


I instruct Les Mills BodyPump which is a fantastic cardio- weights based class and Spinning which is a high intensity indoor cycling class.


My favourite part of instructing is watching people develop a love and passion for exercise in the same way I did all those years ago. It doesn’t matter what your fitness level is, all of my classes can be adapted to a beginner or advanced level. You won’t find a more friendly and supportive bunch of members in our classes- we all interact together, have fun and help each other to achieve our fitness goals.
